Position Summary: The
Commercial and Reporting Finance Manager will oversee financial planning, analysis, and reporting, providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is a
qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with deep experience in the tourism or hospitality sectors and a track record of driving profitability and ensuring financial transparency. This role requires strong analytical abilities, commercial acumen, and exceptional communication skills to interact with both financial and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management.
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis to support strategic planning.
- Collaborate with operational teams to provide financial insights and drive cost efficiencies across departments.
- Analyse financial performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement to support revenue growth.
- Manage cash flow forecasting and support working capital optimization efforts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS) and maintain high-quality financial controls.
- Work with external auditors during audit processes and ensure timely, accurate financial statements.
- Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
Qualifications & Skills: - Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification required, with a preference for candidates with experience in tourism or hospitality .
- Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting within the tourism or hospitality sectors.
- Strong understanding of financial metrics and profitability drivers relevant to the tourism/hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across departments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
