Key responsibilities: - Manage a dedicated team of three who are responsible for day-to-day financial processes, including cash book entries, payments, creditors, and debtors
- Conduct journal entries, VAT and general ledger/payroll system reconciliations
- Prepare management accounts, analyse financial data, and present findings to the directors
- Review and approve payments
- Manage the insurance and vehicle licensing portfolio
- Ensure compliance with CIPC and other statutory submissions
- Prepare Annual Financial Statements (AFS) and lead the annual audit process
What we are looking for: - 10+ years of relevant accounting experience
- High proficiency in computer literacy, especially in Excel
- Knowledge of Sage Evolution is highly advantageous
- Commitment to core values such as honesty and loyalty
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for your work
- Comfortable representing Financial Director in their absence / when traveling
