- Inspects vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
- Inspects vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade as necessary
- Conducts routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.)
- Schedules future maintenance sessions and advises drivers on vehicle use
- Repairs or replaces broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
- Provides accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job to Workshop Manager
- Ensures that safety measures are adhered to with regard to the use of tools
- Ensure that the safety of the working area
- Report injuries and damages to Workshop Manager
- Completes logs on work done
Qualifications: - Qualified Artisan (Mechanical)
- Minimum 3 years experience
