Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure that Kronos Time and Attendance system is optimized for weekly & monthly payroll.
Check that hours worked by employees are properly authorized by the relevant department.
Process weekly & monthly payroll input accurately and on time.
Capture leave, training & disciplinaries on the HR system.
Generate various reports as required e.g., overtime, leave, sick leave, training.
Ensure that all HR administration for new engagements & exiting employees is completed timeously and well maintained for record purposes.
Assist staff with medical aid queries, loan applications, etc.
Ensure that all HR administration for retirement fund home loans/beneficiary forms/funeral claims is completed accurately and on time.
Assist with ad hoc HR duties as required from time to time.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Preferred Qualifications:
Grade 12 Qualification.
Incumbent must be computer literate (MS Office – Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook).
Post-matric qualification i.e., HR National Diploma.
Knowledge of applicable software i.e.: Kronos, Mpower; Saflec.
Knowledge of Labour Law Legislation.
Required Experience & Skills:
2 - 5 years’ work experience in a similar position.
Experience in the Manufacturing Industry will be an added advantage.
Ability to work under pressure.
High level of integrity and confidentiality.
