Group Training Officer
Our client, a reputable Packaging Manufacturer based in Durban , is seeking a skilled Group Training Officer to join their team. If you have a background in manufacturing , strong organizational skills, and a commitment to employee growth, we want to hear from you!
Requirements:
- Minimum of approximately 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Zulu language.
- Ability to identify training needs and design tailored programs (e.g., conflict resolution in the workplace).
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
- Manufacturing background is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Apply for SETA grants and manage training requisitions.
- Coordinate both internal and external training sessions.
- Compile, capture, complete, and submit WSP/ATR plans.
- Conduct internal training programs including induction, HACCP training, and soft-skills training.
- Collaborate with Line Managers to develop and deliver operating procedures/work procedures training.
- Facilitate the apprenticeship program including candidate sourcing, interviews, psychometric assessments, and program monitoring.
- Assist with recruitment processes for various positions including General Assistants, Assistants, and Forklift/Clamp Drivers.
- Provide translation services during meetings, counseling sessions, hearings, and notices.
- Act as a committee member for Employment Equity initiatives and manage occupational levels updates.
- Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously.
- Highly organized with strong administrative skills (reporting, file management).
- Proactive and able to take initiative.
