Senior Business Partner - Performance & Development
The P&D Business Partner is a key partnership role supporting both senior and operational stakeholders to determine where learning interventions or performance & development support is required in Divisional / Functional teams. Collaborates with senior business leaders across multiple clients to define, oversee & support the delivery of all P&D activity.
Role Objective: The Senior P&D Business Partner is responsible for Performance and Development for the South Africa Business.
Minimum Requirements: Academic: - Matric
- Industrial psychology / Development / Learning / BCom / BSC
Experience: - 5 Years experience Performance & Development experience
Primary Responsibilities: - Pricing for new business and ensuring that the solution offered to new clients is deliverable.
- Execute the P&D imperatives and approach in line with Capita's Group P&D strategy.
- Build strong professional relationships with key stakeholders, including government, non-government and educational institutions.
- Leverage strong P&D knowledge to bring insight to support the business agenda and strategy.
- Train and coach managers and executive leadership in employee performance development.
- Design and develop the Career Pathway Framework from a competency perspective.
- Facilitate progression/succession planning processes.
- Design and execute performance development processes including leading design improvements.
- Lead on Capita's approach to Early Careers and Professional Development.
- Partnering with the business to make data-driven decisions.
- Develop and manage the performance and development of direct reports.
- Proactively report on performance, utilization, and engagement.
- Input into reporting for Enterprise Risk Committee regarding P&D risks.
- Comply with South Africa's Skills Development Act and other relevant legislation.
- Develop the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR).
- Secure skills development funding from relevant authorities.

- Deep understanding in learning delivery and design.
- Experience in managing large-scale learning initiatives.
- Strong project management and change management skills.
- Confident in both written and spoken communication.
- Experience in budgetary management.
