Job Description Deputy Manager (Children's Services)
Location: Nuneaton
Salary: £20.10 per hour / £42,000 per year
Holiday: 22 days + 8 days bank holiday
Additional Benefits: Free parking on and off-site, £5 per hour on bank holidays
Fee: 12.5%
About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join a specialized children s service. As Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring that the highest standards of care are provided to children. You will support the overall management and lead a team of staff to deliver compassionate, person-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Manager in the overall running of the service
- Supervise and manage a team of staff to ensure high standards of care are met
- Develop, implement, and monitor care plans for children with Emotional Behavioural Disorder and mild autism
- Lead by example and provide guidance and support to staff
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
- Promote the safeguarding and well-being of children at all times
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and other professionals
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a children's service
- Strong knowledge of Emotional Behavioural Disorder and autism care
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- A passion for making a difference in the lives of children
