Purpose
The Systems engineer's role is to install, design, administer and optimise company servers and related components to achieve high performance of the various business applications supported by tuning the servers as necessary.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- 360% Survey Review - Survey submission to 10 Clients.
- Environmental Management controls - Environmental Infrastructure managed according to standards and procedures.
- Personal Development and training - Training attended and exams completed for passed: Selected training as per CDP Plan, and as approved and contracted by HR.
- Ticket SLA Management - ≥ 95% of every month's tickets to be completed within the agreed SLA.
- IT SLA's overall per Annum - Technical Team SLA Performance over the period of evaluation.
- BIT performance, Uptime and Recovery.
- BIT Tickets SLA.
- IT Service Level Performance Review – Internal IT Department Tickets.
- Disaster Recovery (DR) Survey.
- IT Service Delivery Survey.
- IT Climate index - The overall index of the IT Climate survey that will be submitted bi-annually by executive management.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in server, workstation, associated O/S & advanced application support essential.
- Grade 12.
- Diploma/Degree in IT, System Engineer or related.
- A+, N+ or similar qualification.
Package & Remuneration
R Negotiable on Experience.
