Financial Manager
As a dynamic, innovative, entrepreneurial company specializing in tech-based solutions for Road Users, Service Providers, and the Transport and Logistics Industries, we are seeking to employ a Financial Manager with previous FSP/logistics/telematics/tech solution provider experience.
The position will be based at the company’s Durban Head Office, and the primary mission of the RNR Financial Manager is to contribute to the overall success of the organization by managing all financial tasks effectively and strategically.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform customer and supplier interactions immediately.
- Ensure immediate communication and response to customers and suppliers.
- Set team objectives/KPIs and conduct regular reviews.
- Develop a balanced scorecard for team members.
- Deliver performance-related feedback to team members.
- Ensure accurate, consistent, and timely reporting and data capturing.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding administration and accounting.
- Manage financial tasks according to company policy and procedure.
- Assess financial risk and strive for operational efficiencies.
- Keep abreast of IFRIS disclosure changes.
- Manage and control the budget.
- Manage company assets and their maintenance.
- Manage staff performance and development.
- Develop innovative payment options.
- Participate in customer acquisition as required.
- Support the CEO in liaising with investors and shareholders.
- Participate in setting the strategic direction of the company.
Qualifications / Background / Experience
- At least 5 years of team management experience.
- FSP, Logistics knowledge, dealership experience – a plus.
- Good knowledge of innovative solutions and technologies.
- Good knowledge of Business Intelligence.
- Qualification: CA(SA).
- Sound verbal, written, and telephonic communication skills in English.
- Advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience in the banking and/or insurance industry (or other FSP) is an advantage.
