A prominent consulting firm specializing in the engineering and construction sector is on the lookout for a SENIOR SITE SUPERVISOR / SITE MANAGER. This role will focus on delivering exceptional services for the KZN Portfolio, with the position based in Harding/Thornville, KWAZULU-NATAL.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overseeing site construction activities, administration, management of resources, progress reporting, quality control inspections, etc.
- Monitoring and directing the contractor activities, liaising with the Project Manager, Local Community Forums and other stakeholders as required.
- Performing regular inspections of the construction site.
- Identifying potential safety hazards and managing them accordingly.
- Managing orders and deliveries of building materials.
- Assisting project managers with planning work activities.
- Completing site reports and other records.
- Attending site management meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Ten (10) yrs NTD, Five (5) yrs ND, Three (3) yrs BSc / Btech Electrical/ Civil/Mechanical qualification.
- Seven (7) - Ten (10) yrs NTD Elec/ Civil Site Supervisory / Management experience within the Power & Renewal Energy Industry.
