Our client, a well-established automotive repair provider, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Service Advisor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the automotive industry, a strong knowledge of vehicle repair processes, and a focus on delivering excellent customer service. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of automotive repair processes, parts, and industry-specific terminology.
- Familiarity with service management software (e.g., TMS, AUDATEX) is advantageous.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Serve as the main point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, providing repair updates, and ensuring a smooth and positive service experience.
- Repair Coordination: Work with technicians to relay repair requirements and timelines to customers, ensuring clear communication throughout the repair process.
- Estimate Preparation: Prepare and communicate service estimates to customers, explaining repair costs and timelines in a clear and friendly manner.
- Service Scheduling: Manage and prioritize service appointments, maintaining a steady workflow and optimizing technician schedules.
- Software Use: Utilize service management software (e.g., TMS, AUDATEX) to maintain accurate records and manage repair timelines effectively.
- Customer Follow-up: Conduct post-service follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and address any outstanding needs or feedback.
