Business Development
Serve as a business partner to the MD on the organization’s financial, budgeting, and administrative processes. Support business development strategies with financial analysis and due diligence specifically related to Africa.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (CA preferred) in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
- 8+ years relevant experience and 3+ years management experience.
- Excellent communication and people skills, with experience collaborating in a multi-disciplinary and diverse team.
- Demonstrated experience in financial management and accounting.
- Experience should include legal, audit, compliance, budget, and resource development.
- Experience with International Companies – as a preference.
- Technologically savvy, with an ability to point to examples of having worked with IT staff to develop and implement new processes and systems that increased efficiency.
- Flexible and a self-starter; able to multi-task while also being highly detail-oriented.
- Excellent fluency in written and spoken English.
- Good experiences in working in a multicultural environment.
- Experience with ERP (SAP) systems.
- Experience in manufacturing companies.
- Experience in cross border trading including tax regulations in African countries – as a preference.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet short deadlines.
- Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment.
