Production Planner - Permanent - Halstead - Up to £30,000 per annum
Our manufacturing client are looking for an experienced Production Planner to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful applicant will be responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating production of the company products.

Duties:
• Planning, scheduling and coordinating production of the company’s products
• Evaluating raw materials and equipment to ensure everything is in place for production
• Creating, distributing and booking in Works Orders
• Monitoring production status and resolving any issues or delays
• Reporting on production performance to upper management.
• Scanning documentation
• Having strong communication, organisational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Arranging couriers and/or carriers as required.
• Assist in stock take.
• Any general office associated duties.
Preferred experience:
• Previous Production Planner experience gained within an office environment.
• Excellent telephone manner with the ability to communicate at all levels
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience of in-house systems
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise own workload
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience of Dynamics 365 Business Central systems would be an advantage
• Understanding of the importance of data protection and adherence to the process
Additional information:
- Working hours: Mon – Thurs 08:30 – 17:00, Fri 08:30 – 14:30 – but telephone cover is required until 16:00 on a Friday via a rota basis and time in lieu is given back for this.
