What Is the Opportunity?
Travelers Europe is looking for a Senior Manager to lead our Business Analysis team!
In this role you will be responsible for:
- The development and provision of Business Analysis within the context of the Travelers Europe change environment.
- Establishing a Centre of Excellence for the Business Analysis practice, with a focus on training, growing, and developing the team of Business Analysts.
This role is eligible for a £2,500 new joiner referral bonus. If you are successfully referred by an employee at Travelers Europe, both you and the person who referred you could be eligible for this bonus.
Travelers Europe currently offers flexibility to employees who wish to work on a hybrid basis in accordance with our Hybrid Work Arrangements Policy. This entails full time employees working three days a week in the office and two days at home (or pro rata for part-time employees). This policy may be changed at the Company’s discretion.
What Will You Do?
Conduct Business Analysis for projects across Europe interacting with stakeholders at all levels, to design end to end processes, across multiple functional areas.
Lead and manage a team of 7-10 (permanent and contractor) Business Analysts (BA’s).
Responsible for the development of skills and capability across the team in order to improve the quality of projects across the portfolio.
Develop methodology and standards to which all BAs will work. Liaise with stakeholders, notably Technology, to ensure that these standards are fit-for-purpose.
Work closely with PMO and Programme Directors Business Partners in order to allocate BA resource smoothly, efficiently and effectively (matching capability vs need) against our project set. Intervene/trouble-shoot in projects where challenges are seen.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
Bachelors degree or equivalent.
Thorough knowledge of the insurance industry, Lloyds Market, and Information Systems required.
Highly Numerate.
Highly logical approach to solving problems.
Strong at dealing with complexity.
Highly credible and able to influence senior stakeholders.
Able to build and present comprehensive cases for change.
Advanced communication skills; verbal and written.
Advanced platform skills such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Project.
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Access and SharePoint are a plus.
Accreditation with an appropriate body.
What is a Must Have?
Significant experience in Business Analysis.
