PRODUCTION PLANNER Reporting to the Customer Services Team Leader, the successful applicant will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of production and inventory management. REQUIREMENTS Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field. Strong proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office . SAP experience is advantageous. Solid mathematics background (Matric level). 35 years of experience in planning or buying within manufacturing or retail. Proven track record in manufacturing admin with 3-5 years of relevant experience. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and issue weekly production schedules based on demand. Maintain adequate finished goods stock levels and manage reorder levels to ensure order fulfillment. Monitor and manage slow and dead stock within defined parameters. Coordinate intercompany sales and purchasing to ensure smooth flow of materials. Communicate raw material requirements for new or modified products. Liaise with Stores & Distribution teams to enhance service efficiencies. Place orders with suppliers and adjust stock levels as necessary. Advise on machine capacity requirements for future production needs. Assist with the long-term planning of production capacity and utilization budgets .
