This role is ideal for someone with experience in bookkeeping within the hospitality industry and who can support our accounting processes, including regular stock takes and month-end reporting. Stock takes are a key part of this role, often occurring on weekends. Key Responsibilities: Daily Bookkeeping: Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including recording and reconciling accounts. Oversee and maintain accurate and organized financial records in line with industry best practices. Stock Takes: Conduct regular stock takes, including daily and month-end, with a focus on accuracy. Coordinate and participate in weekend stock takes as required to accommodate high-demand periods. Month-End Closing: Assist with month-end close processes, including generating and reviewing reports. Reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy for month-end financials. ERP and Software Management: Operate and maintain ERP system data related to finance and stock management. Utilize Pastel and Sage for financial management and reporting. Regularly update and ensure integrity of data within our ERP system, troubleshooting issues as needed. Requirements: Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, ideally within the hospitality or events industry. Familiarity with stock-taking processes and an understanding of inventory management. Proficient in Pastel and Sage accounting software. Knowledge and experience with ERP systems. Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail. Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members across departments.
