The Senior MS SQL Administrator is responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's MS SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. This role includes installing, configuring, and maintaining SQL Server instances, as well as performing database tuning, troubleshooting, and ensuring data integrity. The Senior Administrator will develop and implement backup and recovery strategies, optimize SQL queries and indexing, and maintain compliance with industry regulations and security protocols. Additionally, this role requires collaboration with development teams to support database-related application needs and provide guidance on best practices. Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years as an MS SQL Administrator, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role. Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, MCSE) are preferred.
