We are currently seeking a qualified Marine/Logistics Officer for a 12-month contract position in Durban. If you meet the following qualifications and experience requirements, we encourage you to apply:
Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience in Marine Assurance
- National Diploma in Shipping and Logistics
- Courses in Shipping and Legal Practice, Ports and Terminal Management, and Global Shipping Knowledge
- Incident Management System (IMS 100, 200 & 300) training
- Member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (MICS)
- Expertise in Ship Vetting Assurance and applying associated berth fit criteria
- Knowledge of the latest edition of ISGOTT and proficiency in the Ship to Shore Safety Checklist interface to ensure industry best practices
- Must be local to the area or willing to relocate and secure own accommodation
