Plumbing Installation Technician - Johannesburg
Job purpose: Installation and maintenance of toilets including modifications to water reticulation and drainage systems
Minimum requirements:
- Trade Tested experienced Plumber
- Matric
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience
- Minimum 3 years experience working in large shopping centres or high rise building
- MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook literate
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to meet deadlines in challenging circumstances
- Willing to work after hours and weekends as required
- Willing to travel across SA with occasional nights away from home
- Valid unendorsed SA Drivers Licence and own bakkie
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Strong communication skills including report writing and ability to make recommendations
Key accountabilities:
- Carry out standard procedures as follows:
- Installation of new toilets including modifications to water reticulation & drainage systems.
- Installation of above ground drainage systems.
- Identify and manage the projects material requirements.
- Manage the movement of stock and tools through a project.
- Manage the time & labour requirements for your team to ensure projects remain on schedule.
- Adhere to OHS Act health and safety procedures.
- Fault diagnostics and correction/resolution.
- Assist with installation solutions based on detailed site plans and
- Commissioning
Support the SA business in all things
Drive change through ongoing reporting to the business during and on completion of the job follow up with job reporting
- Follow company processes on stock management including usage, shrinkage, and
- Feedback and assist to improve documentation and regularly review and update based on experience.
Salary offer: R43K per month
