Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all theatre unit functions to ensure clinical excellence and efficient resource utilisation.
- Drive strategic objectives related to patient care, team development, and operational growth.
- Lead and support clinical staff within the theatre to maintain high standards of practice.
Requirements: - Degree/Diploma in Nursing with approximately 5 years of post-basic experience, including a proven track record in leadership and people management within healthcare.
- Diploma in Operating Theatre Nursing Science (essential).
- Postgraduate qualification in Management or Nursing Education (advantageous).
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a qualified Theatre Registered Nurse.
- Active registration with the South African Nursing Council.
- Basic understanding of labour legislation, financial management, and change management principles.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Valid drivers licence and reliable transport.
