We are seeking a Mechanical Specialist for a permanent vacancy based in East London, Eastern Cape.
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
- NQF 6 Educational level: Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering Diploma/Degree
- Must be a qualified Fitter/Millwright/Electrician
- Must have training in Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Basic PLC & Robotics
- Minimum 5 years maintenance experience in a supervisory capacity
- Must have extensive technical background in terms of Press Shop and Assembly maintenance within an automotive environment.
- Must understand quality specifications and systems
- Must have good computer literacy skills
The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Co-ordinate activities and functions to ensure that maintenance targets are met.
- Ensure adequate resources are available.
- Manage performance and development of subordinates according to company procedures, work instructions and relevant legislation.
