Shipment Specialist
Responsibilities
- Preparation of transport orders;
- Contacting customers and communicating transport solutions to them;
- Communication with transport companies and customs brokers;
- Preparation and organization of transport and customs documents, in compliance with specific regulations;
- Processing of transport prices, INCOTERMS and storage cost in CRM.
- Liaising with transport organizations on pricing and planning and customs processes.
- Liaising with the customer on a delivery date, shipment costs and storage costs.
- Ensure all completed orders are dispatched on time.
- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports or customer issues.
- Ensure that shipment is successfully arranged according to most efficient conditions which are compliant within local legislation(s).
Your profile:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a logistic planner/coordinator.
- Minimum 2 years of experience on customs clearance procedures.
- Excellent communication skills in English both spoken and written.
- Knowledge and experience with automation systems such as MS Office, CRM and ERP.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Hands-on knowledge of Incoterms.
- Sea freight shipment experience.
- Systematic, independent and able to work in teams.
- Well organized and structured with the ability to set priorities.
- Anticipates and overcomes obstacles.
- Problem solving and self-motivated attitude, ability to cooperate within a team.
- Customer orientation and strong time management skills.
- Flexible, dynamic and detail-oriented person.
- Work experience within multicultural environment (advantage).
