Civil Engineer (PrEng)
Our client, a large engineering consulting firm, is currently looking to add a Civil Engineer (PrEng) to their team.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage civil engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Oversee the design and construction of infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, buildings, water supply systems, and more, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and sustainable practices.
- Conduct thorough site assessments and feasibility studies, identifying potential risks and opportunities for optimization.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including architects, environmental specialists, surveyors, and contractors, fostering seamless project coordination.
- Prepare and review technical reports, engineering drawings, and documentation, complying with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities, ensuring successful project approvals and maintaining a positive reputation in the community.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- ECSA registration as a Professional Engineer.
- Proven experience in civil engineering projects, showcasing your ability to lead and deliver successful outcomes.
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and project stakeholders.
- Passion for sustainability and a genuine desire to contribute to projects that improve the lives of communities and protect the environment.
