About the Role:
Are you skilled in delivering exceptional guest service, proficient in managing diverse responsibilities within the dynamic hospitality sector, and passionate about maintaining high standards in the guest experience? Join our team as a Night Auditor, contributing to the seamless operations of our Aparthotel, and ensuring that each guest enjoys a superior stay with us.
You'd be an excellent fit for this role if you have:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with organisational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Google, Microsoft Office and Email.
- Familiarity with hotel industry practices and experience in Guest Services, preferably in the hospitality industry is a plus.
Your roles and responsibilities:
Your primary duties will involve:
- Welcome Guests: Warmly greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Engage Proactively: Interact individually with guests, attentively addressing their requests.
- Efficient Check-ins/Check-outs: Accurately perform daily check-ins and check-outs of guests.
- Phone Etiquette: Answer telephone calls promptly and professionally.
- Proactive Guest Service: Anticipate and promptly address guest service needs.
- Resolve Concerns: Resolve guest complaints or concerns in a timely manner; escalate if necessary.
- Email Communication Support: Assist the Property Manager in responding efficiently to email communications.
- Urgent Matters Communication: Keep the Property Manager informed of urgent matters communicated or escalated.
- Data Accuracy: Ensure accurate and complete data capturing for administrative tasks.
- Safety Promotion: Promote a safe working environment and adhere to emergency procedures.
- Emergency Procedures Adherence: Adhere to all emergency and health and safety procedures.
- Professional Appearance: Maintain a clean and professional appearance in the company-issued uniform.
- Nightly Operations Management: Manage nightly hotel operations, including incidents and end-of-day procedures.
- Reporting: Generate daily reports for departments and department heads.
- Financial Transaction Management: Balance and take note of card transactions and submit to the Finance department.
- Nightly Audits: Conduct nightly audits on check-ins, check-outs and no-show Guests.
Languages:
- Proficiency in written, spoken, and reading English.
- Additional languages are an asset
Working Schedule:
- 7am to 7pm (Overnight Shifts)
- Weekend work included.
