Group Financial Manager
Our client is on the hunt for a strategic and results-driven Group Financial Manager to steer their financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to new heights. This role is a cornerstone in the company, ensuring the financial health and growth of the business through meticulous management and innovative financial strategies.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Spearhead the development of financial policies and processes to optimize fiscal performance and accountability.
- Drive cost-reduction initiatives, identifying opportunities for savings and efficiency gains.
- Conduct thorough reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction, aiding in strategic planning and analysis.
- Forge robust finance and operational strategies by analyzing trends and establishing key performance metrics.
- Ensure the integrity of financial reports and adherence to statutory requirements.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- A Qualified Chartered Accountant credential is essential.
- A minimum of 5 years' post-articles experience in a Finance Management, Group Accountant, or similar role.
- Profound knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and current South African financial regulations.
- Expertise in financial modeling, internal controls, and corporate governance is vital.
- Proficiency in BI tools and debtor systems, with a strong command of MS Office suite.
