Job Responsibilities
Review budget packs and assist Property Managers with the budget process.
Prepare periodic leaseholder invoices to be sent to the leaseholder in accordance with their lease agreement.
Prepare year-end audit packs and liaise with external auditors to produce year-end service charge certified accounts in line with statutory requirements and company best practices.
Prepare monthly/quarterly client financial reporting packs.
Respond to financial elements of lessee correspondence.
Maintain and update Property Management Systems schedules.
Maintain re-charge funds, including calculating invoice amounts and generating invoices.
Maintain ground rent funds and remit ground rent statements and monies collected to landlords.
Understand the financial clauses within the leases relevant to the portfolio of properties you are responsible for.
Update the internal system with basic information as required, ensuring information is 100% accurate.
Keep up to date with current internal company procedures.
Be aware of self-developments, i.e., training.
Handle any additional reasonable requests not listed above.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
Must have at least 5 years of similar experience.
A tertiary qualification in Accounting is required.
Property industry experience is advantageous.
