Accountant Position
Salary: R 40 000 PM CTC
Location: Office based position
Company: Well established international concern that supplies machinery for the Mining and Construction industry.
Qualifications and Experience:
- BCom Accounting Degree
- 3 – 4 years experience in a similar environment (construction and mining companies)
- Deal with both Namibian and South African subsidiaries (Accounting and Financials)
- SAP B1 experience
- Sound knowledge of IFRS
Duties:
- Responsible for the full accounting function
- Trial Balance
- Compile management statement weekly
- Responsible for cashbook, debtors, creditors, costing and revenue analysis
- Subcontractors reconciliations
- Payment of creditors and salaries
- Depreciation of assets
- Reconciliations of VAT account and import VAT account
- Preparation of tax
- Preparation of all NAMRA tax returns
- Product costing (BOM calculation and verification)
- Identifying cost saving initiatives
- Cash flow planning and management
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license & own vehicle essential
Salary: Offered to successful applicant will depend on qualifications and experience.
