Company Overview
Our Client is a global commodity warehousing and logistics business specializing in handling, storage, and movement of commodities and finished products, including non-ferrous and ferrous metals, ferroalloys, project cargo, oil & gas, and agricultural products. They are an approved warehouse keeper of the London Metal Exchange, providing LME warehousing and associated services to traders, producers, financiers, and consumers of base metals. Duties & Responsibilities
• Manage a team of financial professionals directly (group finance) and indirectly (regional finance teams) to produce the Group’s required reporting outcomes.
• Responsible for producing consolidated group annual financial statements, monthly management reports, and other relevant stakeholder reporting, along with key performance indicators.
• Produce insightful analysis of results, including retrospective interpretation of performance, understanding major business drivers, KPIs, trend analysis, and predictive forecasting.
• Prepare and consolidate annual budgets and regular forecasts.
• Build robust finance processes to ensure the integrity of reported information.
• Manage the group external audit process.
• Drive reporting process improvements to achieve timely and accurate financial information output for decision-making.
• Design, manage, and monitor a group internal financial control framework to ensure financial information is accurate and complete, mitigating risks of fraud, misstatement, and error.
• Interact with senior members of the Group in operational, commercial, legal, and other executive roles to understand factors affecting the Group’s financial performance.
• Contribute to the strategic planning of the business by providing financial insights and advice to business function teams and senior management.
• Build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Access World Group Policies and external legal, regulatory, and related requirements.
• Travel to group locations may be required on an ad hoc short-term basis.

• Internal: Group CEO and CFO, Group Finance Head Office Team, Regional and Legal Entity Finance Teams, Group Senior Management, Shareholder Representatives.

Desired Experience & Qualification
• CA or similar professional qualification with a post-graduate qualification in accounting or finance.
• Minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience in the Finance department of a large listed or multinational company.
• Minimum of 5 years’ proven managerial experience.
• Excellent knowledge of IFRS reporting standards and international tax rules.
