The successful incumbent will have hands-on experience within a plant / factory environment and get involved in all operational aspects, including sales, costings, distribution, warehousing and inventory.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial reporting
- Manage budget and forecast processes
- Staff management (Finance and Operations)
- Manage interface with Shared Services
- Manage annual audit process
- Assist with management of divisional risk by reporting on risks, identifying new risks and implementing risk mitigation actions
- Prevent wasteful spend (OPEX) and ensure that returns (CAPEX) are measured to improve the financial results
- Improve business decision making capability by ensuring that the costing and profitability accounting reflects impact of cost and profitability drivers
Education Requirements: - Qualified CA(SA) required (non-negotiable)
Job Requirements and Skills: - Completed SAICA articles
- 6 to 7 years post-articles experience in a financial management role essential
- Manufacturing / Plant / Factory hands-on experience essential
- SAP working knowledge
