What You Bring
- Qualifications : Relevant IT qualification (NQF 6) and certifications, including Azure Solutions Architect Expert , Azure AI Engineer Associate , with ITIL, COBIT, or TOGAF certifications beneficial.
- Experience : 10+ years in enterprise IT systems integration, with at least 5 years specializing in Azure cloud architecture . Proven track record in architecting large-scale enterprise solutions within Azure, including data migration and cloud modernization .
- Technical Mastery : Expertise across Azure services including Compute, Storage, Networking, Database, IoT, AI, and Analytics . Strong knowledge of cloud security solutions , CAF compliance , and DevOps tools .
- Leadership Skills : Exceptional ability to manage, mentor, and communicate effectively with diverse teams, presenting sophisticated solutions clearly.
- Innovation & Adaptability : A passion for exploring AI , hybrid environments, and multi-cloud strategies that keep us at the forefront of the industry.
What Youll Do
- Architect and Design : Create sophisticated Azure solutions across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, DevOps, and AI technologies, ensuring scalable and secure deployments that align with Microsofts Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and cloud security best practices.
- Technical Leadership : Lead teams through complex projects, overseeing deployments in cloud-native applications, microservices architectures, and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes .
- Roadmaps & Strategy : Develop and oversee strategic roadmaps for cloud adoption, including short, medium, and long-term objectives, while ensuring compliance with CAF and governance standards.
- Optimize & Secure : Implement cost management , security , and performance strategies across deployments, utilizing DevOps tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Terraform to support infrastructure automation and CI/CD practices.
- Innovation & Exploration : Actively research emerging AI and hybrid cloud technologies , as well as multi-cloud strategies, to keep our team ahead of the curve.
- Engage & Inspire : Represent the organization at industry events, conduct impactful stakeholder presentations, and provide mentorship and guidance to operational and technical teams.
