As the Head of PMO, you will play a key role in overseeing and directing the execution of major initiatives within a fast-paced and innovative environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of strategic projects while providing guidance and support to project teams across the organization.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead the Project Management Office (PMO) and manage a portfolio of large, complex projects aligned with the organization's strategic goals.
- Develop and implement standardized project management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices across the business.
- Oversee the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align projects with organizational objectives and ensure continuous improvement of project delivery processes.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project managers and business analysts, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
- Manage resource allocation, risks, and budgets to ensure projects meet scope, quality, and schedule expectations.
- Establish and maintain project governance, reporting, and performance metrics to ensure transparency and accountability.
Required Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelors Degree in Business Science, Commerce, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Postgraduate qualification (e.g., Masters Degree, or similar).
- Project Management qualification (e.g., PMP, Prince2, or equivalent).
- MBA (ideal, but not required).
Minimum Experience: - A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis.
- Between 5 to 8 years of experience in project management, with a focus on large, transformational organizational projects.
- At least 5 years of experience in management consulting, ideally within large organizations or on transformation projects.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in management, specifically in leading teams and managing complex projects.
