A leading financial services group is looking for a highly skilled Group Reporting Specialist (CA(SA)) to permanently join their finance team. This is a key role for a driven and detail-oriented professional who will play a vital part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and effective consolidation within the group . Duties: Lead the consolidation of group financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards and group policies. Ensure accurate and compliant reporting under IFRS 10 (Consolidations), IFRS 17 (Insurance Contracts), and IFRS 7 (Financial Instruments). Analyze and interpret financial instruments, ensuring proper reporting and disclosure of relevant transactions. Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, providing insights into financial performance, trends, and variances for senior management and stakeholders. Assist with audit preparation and ensure all necessary documentation and reports are provided in a timely manner. Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial reporting processes and systems across the group. Qualifications & Skills: CA(SA) qualification with 3 years of post-qualification experience. Preferably from a financial services background, with specific exposure to insurance or banking. Strong understanding and practical experience with IFRS 10 (Consolidations), IFRS 17 (Insurance Contracts), and IFRS 7 (Financial Instruments). Experience in analyzing financial instruments, including derivatives, investments, and other complex financial products.
