Financial Assistant to FM Bookkeeper / Afrikaans speaking Only
Job description
The Ideal Candidate:
You're between 25-35 years old, must be Afrikaans speaking with a solid foundation in accounting (qualifications are a big plus!). You have a knack for managing debtors and creditors and have hands-on experience with purchase orders, invoice processing, and document pairing. Not only are you comfortable with month-end recons, but you're also a wizard with stock management.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assisting with debtor and creditor management - from processing invoices to purchase orders and more.
- Leading month-end reconciliations and ensuring smooth account balancing.
- Managing stock processes and tracking with precision.
- Using Sage Accounting & Payroll like a pro (this is a must).
- Calculating wages, salaries, and overtime to keep our team happy and paid.
- Handling SARS eFiling (EMP201) submissions with confidence.

Qualification & Requirements: - Degree in Business admin, accounting or finance field which is relevant.
- 3+ years Bookkeeping experience needed as a minimum.
- Sage and Payroll Systems and Microsoft Office .
- Excellent mathematics and communication skills.
- Must know payroll and bookkeeping .
- Must know how to balance bank accounts .
- An advantage if they can do report writing and data entry.
- Must be able to do Journal entries, Reconciliations, Bank Recons, Payments and deal with customer suppliers regarding invoicing etc.
