KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Oversee and manage all aspects of the financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial records.
Strategic Planning & Advisory: - Work closely with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decision-making, including profitability analysis, financial modeling, and risk assessments.
- Support business expansion efforts through detailed financial planning, scenario analysis, and forecasting.
Budgeting & Forecasting: - Lead the annual budgeting process, including developing financial forecasts, setting performance targets, and aligning budgets with business goals.
- Continuously monitor and update forecasts to reflect business performance and market conditions.
- Provide variance analysis between actual results and budgeted targets, recommending corrective actions where necessary.
Tax Compliance & Auditing: - Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, filings, and payments, including corporate tax, VAT, and payroll taxes.
- Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion of audit processes.
Qualifications: - Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA SA) with completed articles.
