The manager is responsible for managing operational aspects of a Global Education Center (GEC). This role ultimately helps students become disciples of Jesus Christ who are leaders in their homes, the Church, and their communities.
The individual will need to be a seasoned professional with a blend of operational, higher education, job placement, and student mentoring abilities. They will also need to have strong credibility and relationships in the area. Additionally, they should have experience in administrative responsibilities including but not limited to budgeting, facility management, job placement, HR, training, and helping others to grow in their job performance and career development.
The manager position will not be filled until a legal entity is established. This date may vary depending on government regulations and legal set-up. This is a pioneering development in the Church Educational System and the manager will need to have an entrepreneurial and pioneering spirit to navigate unexpected changes.
The position would assist in the creation of policies and processes. The incumbent must be comfortable working in an unestablished and changing environment. The director is expected to work on-site Monday through Friday, typically between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. local time. Additional work on evenings or weekends may be needed during enrollment times and to maintain coverage of the center.
