Qualified and Experienced Maintenance Manager required for a Busy & Established Sandton Hotel. Previous Hotel Maintenance Management Experience Essential.
Job scope:
- General Maintenance and repairs to all buildings.
- Upkeep and repairs of all public areas.
- General maintenance on electrical, plumbing, appliances, tools and equipment.
- Plan, propose, manage all projects as and when required including collaboration on projects with outside contractors.
- Ensure quality control of all maintenance and projects.
- Prepare, submit annual and ad hoc budgets for operations and projects.
- Negotiate favourable wholesale prices with suppliers.
- Fleet Management of maintenance department company vehicles.
- Ensure effective staff management within the guidelines of the company policies and legislative requirements.
- Exceptional report writing skills.
- Weekly and Monthly reports required.
- Control and manage stock levels and reports.
Requirements & Attributes
- Matric Grade 12
- Candidate must have strong Leadership, Administration, Project Management and General Building Maintenance skills within the hospitality industry with experience of at least 5 to 10 years .
- Microsoft Office, especially with Good Excel Skills.
- Project Management experience is essential.
- Valid RSA ID is required.
- Valid Driver’s License is required
- Clear Criminal Record
- Clear ITC Credit Record
- Hands-on individual, Attention to Detail, Reliability and adaptability is NB.
