Job Description
Our client who is based in Cape Town has an opportunity for an energetic to join their team in the capacity of the Maintenance Supervisor. The successful applicant will be responsible for the following:
- Assist with planning and scheduling of cleaning with hygiene/ technical department
- Over inspections to be carried out on completed jobs and artisans assigned areas
- Oversee allocation of job cards and resources
- Analyse issues and items that are slowing the artisans down. Establish ways to overcome these issues and items
- Ensure legal and safety inspections are completed
- Comply with the necessary Occupational Health and Safety requirements and food safety requirements
- Participate in personal hygiene checks
- Responsible for the day to day management of the outputs of the team/s
- Other related duties
Qualifications
- Matric
- Technical Qualification
- Trade Tested Millwright/Electrician/Fitter
Skills
- 5 years maintenance experience
- 2 years supervisory experience
- Good all-round mechanical and electrical knowledge
- People Management skill
