- Operate Lamination Machine efficiently according to pre-defined production and waste targets.
- Produce good products which are approved by the quality department and meet the specified quality norms in the job’s specification.
- Identify any technical problems that arise in the machine, communicate the same to the shift in charge, and get it rectified with minimum loss of productive time in coordination with the maintenance team.
- Maintain machine health by following set industrial safety, food safety, and personal hygiene compliance in the work area during machine operation.
- Accountable for maintaining daily input and output reconciliation of consumed RM and produced laminates by the end of the shift.
- Follow the rules set by plant HR for plant entry & exit and disciplinary acts.
- Encourage a clean and safe environment in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Actual Production vs. set target. To be monitored daily and monthly.
- Actual Process Waste vs. set target. To be monitored daily and monthly.
- Internal/External quality complaints found in the produced product. To be monitored daily and monthly.
- External quality complaints and rejection after sale within the set target norm.
- Following personal and industrial safety guidelines.
- Following QMS and Food Safety Compliance in the department while machine operation.
- Learning and training of machine operation with the help of the assigned senior machine operator and under the guidance of the reporting manager within the set timeline. To be monitored monthly and quarterly.
- Maintaining a good relationship with the machine team and the reporting manager.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/ITI, with 2-6 years of relevant industry experience.
Skills:
- Knowledge of adhesives, other chemicals, and mechanical systems.
- Basic computer skills, including MS Office applications.
- Presentable with good communication skills.
Additional Skills:
Machinist, Problem Solving, Health and Safety Compliance.
