Project Manager - Road Project in Papua New Guinea

Now, they are embarking on a significant 54-kilometer road project in Papua New Guinea, outside Port Moresby, and are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the way. Your role will include managing the project and team, controlling finances and reporting. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of success and leadership qualities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the project and team effectively.
- Control finances and reporting.
- Lead and manage teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents to achieve best outcomes for the project and company.
- Monitor materials/equipment and provide productive outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements and quality assurance documentation.
- Proficient in MS Suite.
- Maintain a methodical and organized approach to work.
Minimum Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in road construction and bulk earthworks preferred.
- Practical experience and ability to apply real-world outcomes to construction.
- High level of ability to interpret plans and specifications.
