To develop, maintain and test the Bank's Business Resilience programme to enable the organisation to understand a disruption and reduce the overall impacts of a crisis. To provide subject matter expertise and actively contribute to the development and implementation of plans to anticipate, address, and mitigate the effects of various business interruptions. To develop the processes and adaptability to anticipate and prepare, respond and recover, withstand and recover.
Responsibilities
- Engage with Business Resilience (BR) representatives within Business & Commercial Banking and Personal & Private Banking to complete and get sign-off on Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP) in-line with business resilience standards.
- Conduct business resilience exercises (crisis management simulations) designed to ensure that Business & Commercial Banking and Personal & Private Banking and crisis teams are regularly tested in accordance to their criticality, capabilities and risk profile.
- Challenge business leaders across the different segments on the identification of critical functions and needs in order to maintain a state of informed preparedness.

3-4 years
Experience or understanding of banking sector and regulatory requirements. Understanding and knowledge of risk management with the risk identification, tracking and remediation across the lines of defence.
3-4 years
Practical knowledge and experience of Operational Risk (Non-Financial Risk) which would include identifying and analysing potential risks to the Bank by conducting scenario analyses, stress tests, and other risk analysis.
5-7 years
The responsible person should have experience and exposure to the delivery of the Business Continuity lifecycle (i.e. impact analysis, recovery strategy formulation, plan development, testing and exercising and governance and awareness related activities), engaging multiple stakeholders across the bank to fulfil value-chain and business line requirements for the business resilience (BR) programme. Experience working in a Three Lines of Defence (3LOD) Risk Management model.
