Our reputable Logistics client (specializing in A-grade warehousing and transport logistics) that is based in Pomona, Kempton Park is seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Manager to join their team.
Salary : Market-Related (Depending on Experience)
Objective:
The Infrastructure Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing Infrastructure plan and activities. This includes Data Centre, servers, databases, applications, wide area networks, local area networks, desktops, printers, telephony, and security, including antivirus and malware. The infrastructure manager needs to ensure that the offices can operate effectively and efficiently to achieve strategy. The infrastructure manager is responsible for the infrastructure architecture, operations, outsourcing agreements, and relationship management with service providers.
Requirements :
- Matric/Grade 12
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role at a small to medium company.
- SAP Knowledge is a MUST
Responsibilities :
- Deliver a stable progressing infrastructure architecture for the company.
- Deliver on the infrastructure plan.
- Ensure all infrastructure is available with agreed SLA standards.
- Manage the relationship with the service providers.
- Ensure company DRP is implemented and tested annually.
- Develop the infrastructure plan.
- Ensure office connectivity is in place and managed to SLA.
- Ensure network management tools are in place (NMS, proxy server).
- Telephony system per SLA agreement.
- Daily, weekly monthly stats.
- Firewalls and security.
- LAN, WAN working to SLA.
- Ensure servers are available to company users as per SLA.
- Ensure Management of network partners.
- Management stats in monthly reports.
- Ensure all systems data backed up daily and stored in secure retrievable area.
- Ensure the business continuity plan is in place and tested annually.
- Manage antivirus, Malware, desktops standards and profiles email.
- Ensure all updates are installed in the corrected controlled way (WSUS/WDS).
- Only company users able to log on to Domain.
- Ensure users protection from Malware and viruses via recognized anti-virus application on each PC.
- Ensure e-mail security and antispam solution implementation and management.
- Office printers/scanners.
- Maintain a support helpdesk.
- Helpdesk availability 24/7/365.
- Support analysis and reports.
- Implement and communicate SLA.
- Monitor and report on any SLA breaches.
- Manage all service providers.
