Business Development Specialist (JB4249)
Location: Houghton, Johannesburg
Salary: R25 000 - R30 000 CTC per month + commission
Type: Permanent
Experienced business development specialist, skilled in consultative selling of B-BBEE learning solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong sales record and a genuine enthusiasm for education/skills development, B-BBEE, and sales.
Minimum Requirements:
- Completed Grade 12.
- 5 or more years of B2B sales experience with 2 or more years specific to B-BBEE and Skills Development solutions.
- Previous experience managing national sales accounts.
- Proven ability to engage senior management, deliver persuasive value propositions, and lead contract negotiations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Consistently achieve sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Attend appointments arranged by the Telesales Admin Team and self-generated appointments.
- Record all interactions and sales activities in CRM (Hubspot) for comprehensive tracking.
- Comply with company policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations.
- Promote B-BBEE and skills development-related services and solutions effectively.
- Maintain an existing client portfolio.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and responsiveness to client needs.
- Drive toward achieving targets consistently.
- Deliver high-quality presentations.
