Job Description
Our client is in search of a talented and creative individual to join their team as a Marketing Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting engaging and compelling content across various platforms to enhance their brand presence.
Content Creation Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Develop and create high-quality, original content for their website, blog, social media channels, email newsletters, and other marketing materials. This includes photos, videos, drawings, and any other useful media.
- Copywriting: Write clear, concise, and persuasive copy for advertisements, product descriptions, landing pages, and promotional materials.
- SEO Copywriting: Optimize content for search engines by incorporating relevant keywords and phrases to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic to their website and social media pages.
- Social Media Management: Create engaging posts, captions, and visuals for their social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) to increase followers, engagement, and brand awareness.
- Content Strategy: Devise, propose, and execute content strategies that support their overall marketing objectives and brand messaging.
- Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in content marketing, copywriting, SEO, and social media to continuously improve their content strategy and effectiveness.
- Analytics and Optimization: Monitor and analyze the performance of content across various channels using analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights, etc.) and make data-driven decisions to optimize content for better results.
- Collaboration: Where needed, work with graphic designers, videographers, and other group employees/staff members to create multimedia content that enhances their brand identity and storytelling.
- Adherence to Brand Guidelines: Ensure all content produced adheres to brand guidelines, voice, tone, and style, maintaining consistency across all platforms.
Online Shop Responsibilities:
- Product Listing Management: Regularly update product listings on their online shop, including product descriptions, images, prices, and inventory levels, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Content Optimization: Optimize product descriptions and metadata for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and drive organic traffic to their online shop.
- New Product Introductions: Coordinate with product development and marketing teams to ensure timely and accurate introduction of new products to the online shop, including writing compelling descriptions and creating attractive visuals.
- Content Refresh: Implement strategies to keep the online shop content fresh and engaging, such as rotating featured products, updating seasonal promotions, and refreshing homepage banners and content.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits of product listings and content to identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, or outdated information.
- User Experience Enhancement: Continuously evaluate and improve the user experience of the online shop, including navigation, search functionality, and product categorization.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams, including marketing, merchandising, inventory management, and customer service, to ensure alignment of online shop content with overall business objectives.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rate, bounce rate, and average order value to assess the effectiveness of online shop content and identify areas for improvement.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications:
- Qualification in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a content creator, copywriter, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your writing skills and creativity.
- Proficiency in SEO best practices and experience with keyword research and optimization.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and experience managing social media accounts for businesses.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively articulate ideas and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
