Your primary responsibility will be to manage the Group's catalogue and product master databases to the highest standards. This entails managing product information across all brands and regions, including RSA, Africa, and ANZ, ensuring that our catalogue remains unparalleled in its comprehensiveness and accuracy.
Responsibilities
Group Catalogue and Master data Maintenance.
- Take the lead in managing our product catalogue system to uphold best-in-class standards.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of product information across all brands and regions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to elevate the quality of our catalogue and product master data.
Range Fill
- Ensure that range fill targets are consistently met for each brand.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify new opportunities and potential gaps in our product range.
- Collaborate closely with Product Specialists to analyze range fill data and identify trends for improvement.
- Maintain the integrity of external market data platforms and consolidate data sources for internal analysis.
- Utilize tools such as TecDoc, Lightstone, and NAAMSA to gather actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
Price list management
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date pricing across all products and group price lists.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to communicate price list updates effectively.
Stakeholder communication
- Serve as a key liaison between the organization and customers, ensuring timely communication of product introductions and updates.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to align business objectives.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric
- 3-year degree/diploma in Marketing, Computer Science, or Data Analytics
- 5 years of experience in: Database maintenance, Market research, Data analysis, Automotive aftermarket
- Proficiency in Excel (Advanced) and PowerPoint (Intermediate)
- Familiarity with cataloguing software
- Knowledge of cataloguing software and database maintenance
- Knowledge of application coding would be advantageous
- Experience with tools such as TecDoc, Lightstone, JDE, Oscar (ANZ catalogue software), and HaynesPro
