The main objective of this position is to precisely handle financial data at a Group level and aid stakeholders in interpreting financial information to facilitate strategic decision-making within the business.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of Group consolidated accounts for each reporting period, to be presented to EXCO and the Board.
- Reviewing financial reports submitted by subsidiaries.
- Providing support with technical queries and preparing/reviewing technical documentation.
- Conducting training sessions on consolidation packs for financial managers.
- Preparation and review of consolidated Group financial statements.
- Collaborating with external audit providers.
- Ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues to improve client service delivery.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- A recently qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a mandatory 1 to 3 years of post-article experience.
- 2 years of robust experience in IFRS reporting.
- Prior experience in reporting and consolidations within a Group setting.
- Experience within an insurance or financial environment is advantageous.
