Role Overview:
The Digital Content Creator at Story will play a key role in creating and delivering engaging and inspiring content across our range of digital channels. Ensuring our digital presence supports and enhances our business offering and delivers our messages effectively, while shaping the digital content strategy.
This role requires someone who is creative and can identify, create, manage and deliver digital content using a range of techniques, across channels including websites and social media.
Ultimately, an exceptional Digital Content Creator will promote collaboration between internal stakeholders to ensure consistency in our company's outputs and maintain excellent time management, being able to deliver on time, every time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Writing, reviewing, filming, photographing, designing, editing, and updating content for company websites, blogs, social media, marketing materials, and similar platforms.
- Product Photography which meets international standards and company guidelines.
- Conducting research and interviews to learn more about current trends, developments, and perceptions about the subject matter, and then contextualising your findings.
- Using social media tools and scheduling to engage consumers and to promote company initiatives and product.
- Excellent time management skills, strong ability for planning and scheduling content.
- Ability to work alone and with company designated stakeholders, as well as managing external service providers.
- Collaborating with internal departments to establish campaign objectives, complete tasks, and identify and solve problems.
- Monitoring social media and company website metrics & adapting strategy to increase results.
- Utilizing SEO methods within content metadata to increase site traffic and google ranking etc.
- Suggesting new ways to promote company offerings and to reach consumers.
- Safekeeping & maintenance of company assets, including but not limited to cameras and related equipment, laptops, infrastructure and related paraphernalia.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Person Specification:
Essential
- Educated to degree level, ideally in marketing or communications, or significant experience of working in a digital marketing role.
- Energy, enthusiasm and proven experience in producing digital content and digital best practice, preferably with a membership organisation.
- Knowledge and experience of running digital marketing campaigns.
- Strong creative skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Experience using web content management systems, preferably Later.
- Experience developing and managing social media campaigns across channels such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram, TikTok.
- Experience of photography and creating/editing images, using packages such as Adobe Photoshop.
- Experience of video production, including filming, editing (preferably using Premier Pro) and delivering via channels such as YouTube, Instagram & TikTok.
- Understanding of digital analytics and metrics, their importance and the tools to monitor, manage and evaluate them, like Google Analytics.
- Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments, members and suppliers.
- Able to deliver a range of concurrent projects, on-time and to budget.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and structure work schedules.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Good proof-reading skills.
