Skills and Experience Required:
- Strong financial leadership and excellent communication skills;
- Accurate, analytical, and organised with high attention to detail;
- Independent, adaptable, and deadline-driven;
- Ability to prioritise and work under pressure;
- Strong computer literacy, especially with advanced Excel skills;
- Resilient, firm but fair, and a team player;
- Good attendance record, willingness to work overtime, based in Paarl or surrounding areas;
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics;
- Completed SAIPA articles (advantageous);
- Understanding of stock management, costing, and reconciliation;
- Familiarity with accounting systems like SAGE and internal controls;
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in accounting or finance;
- Team management experience is beneficial;
- Valid driver's license and own transport;
- Proficient in English and Afrikaans.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Finalising monthly processing and month-end procedures;
- Conducting monthly general ledger reconciliations and resolving discrepancies;
- Producing monthly management accounts and reporting to directors;
- Comparing budget versus actuals and identifying cost-saving opportunities;
- Managing company expenses and implementing accurate cost allocation structures;
- Designing and implementing standard operating procedures;
- Asset management and payroll processing using Sage;
- Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements;
- Assisting external auditors with reviews and audits;
- Handling SARS queries, reviews, and audits.
Salary:
R22 500CTC per month.
Working Hours:
08h00 to 16h30, Monday to Friday.
