Location: Milnerton, Cape Town
Salary: R45 000 to R50 000 a month + Petrol + Cell phone
Benefits: Provident Fund after 3 months

As the Operations Manager, you'll ensure the organization operates at peak efficiency, delivering a seamless service that exceeds customer and client expectations. Your role involves overseeing daily operations, analyzing data, and preparing reports, all crucial for the company's success.
You'll also collaborate closely with various team members, engaging with managers from different departments, presenting insights to stakeholders and senior management, and providing training and supervision to new staff. Additionally, tracking and evaluating staff performance will be key responsibilities in maintaining high standards across the organization.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven work experience as operations manager
- Adequate knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
- Budget development and oversight experience
- HR/IR (Unions/CCMA/Disciplinary Hearings)
- Basic IT skills (databases, MS Office etc.)
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organisation
- Leadership and organisational skills
- Planning - staying ahead of the game and ensuring that plans for the future are clearly labelled out for everyone to follow.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all operations are conducted in a correct, cost effective and timely manner in alignment with specifications and quality requirements
- Improving operational management systems, processes and best practices that guarantee organizational well-being
- Planning and controlling change
- Managing quality assurance programmes
- Researching new technologies and alternative methods of efficiency
- Audit report tools to be utilised in order to measure effectiveness of the relevant sites performance
- Supervise and coach supervisors regularly
- Chalking out or improving operational systems, processes and best practices that guarantee organizational well-being
- Ensure warehouse efficiency
- Contribute towards the achievement of clients & company’s strategic and operational objectives
- Monitor employee KPI’s
- Cater to clients’ or personnel’s concerns
- Ensuring that communication between departments is ongoing and utilised to maintain an environment of continuous improvement.
- Support the client in planning and ensuring that the business is adequately resourced.
- Training of staff and managers to ensure that everyone is performing adequately in their role
- Providing a leadership support function to teams and motivating staff to achieve productivity goals
- Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of the organization’s mission
- Specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.
- Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services, through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions.
- Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
- Identifying any skills gaps in the organisation and recommending a recruitment programme to support this.
- Acting as a liaison to senior management and directors to keep them up to date with shop floor matters.
- Setting and reviewing budgets and managing costs.
