Top Company in Greenstone is seeking an HR OPS Manager/Generalist. Hands-on person who has supervised staff. Sage 300 experience is required.
Must be energetic and a team player.
MUST SPEAK AFRIKAANS AND ENGLISH FLUENTLY.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Be accessible and available to company branches by interacting and developing relationships with all branches. Visit all branches at least twice a year.
- Prepare the HR agenda for discussion prior to visiting branches and ensure feedback to branches after visits.
- Extend ad-hoc HR projects and initiatives that are developed at Head Office into the Branch network.
- Provide proactive solutions in all HR areas, utilizing current HR resources within the HR Team.
- Direct specific IR/HR issues or problems to the relevant HR Manager within the HR Team.
Update and implement HR systems to align with modern HR technology and minimize manual HR cycle processes.
- Explore and provide recommendations on current and future HR systems.
- Head and champion new automated systems in all areas of Human Resources.
- Provide direction on prioritizing HR system module implementation.
- Oversee and manage current HR information updates on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Manage new starters, terminations, transfers, promotions, and remuneration changes effectively.
Employee Engagement and Retention.
- Assist management in understanding and applying the Talent Review process.
- Schedule sessions with stakeholders to ensure understanding of the talent review process.
- Provide necessary templates and tools for standardized understanding.
- Assist in formulating succession plans for top talent.
- Identify skills development initiatives and training plans.
Entrench a culture of high performance.
- Educate and assist line managers in conducting meaningful performance evaluations.
- Encourage two-way performance conversations.
- Provide line managers with skills and tools for effective staff conversations.
- Discuss performance management documentation processes for improvements.
Ensure compliance with Employment Equity plans and Social & Ethics reporting requirements.
- Monitor achievement of Employment Equity goals and targets.
- Facilitate Employment Equity Committee meetings.
- Compile and submit annual Employment Equity reports.
Tracking HR Operations activities and providing accurate feedback to the HR Director.
- Provide a HR Branch overview at the end of each month.
- Provide a project progress report on a monthly basis.
Ensure that the HR Administrator is developed and engaged.
- Enhance the HR Administrator’s skills set through various programs.
- Develop a Human Resources Branch Network strategy for 2023/24.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Sage 300, ESS, MS Office Suite.
Package & Remuneration
R550 to R600 ctc plus bonuses.
