Duties & Responsibilities
Job Description
As the Head of Maintenance in our Company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of our properties. You will oversee all aspects of maintenance, including but not limited to, preventive maintenance, repairs, renovations, and compliance with safety standards. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining the value and appeal of our properties while ensuring tenant satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and control the routine maintenance activities of the plumbers, contractor and handyman.
- Coordinate and prioritize maintenance requests, ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues reported by tenants.
- Provide direction, guidance and support to the maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, mentoring to enhance team performance and development.
- Lead, manage, and motivate the maintenance team.
- Conduct weekly inspection of maintenance equipment.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules for properties in the portfolio.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure a safe working environment for maintenance staff and tenants.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards related to maintenance operations.
- Implement and enforce proper procedures and protocols for handling hazardous materials, equipment, and emergencies.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements
- Facilities Management, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in property management or real estate industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in plumbing and general maintenance.
- Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems and other software tools.
